Walking On My Memories

Acknowledgements and Thanks

This album is the result of many requests for the songs that are in all our memories.  I would like to thank my audiences all over Australia who have asked for them over the nearly twenty years that I have been playing professionally.

One song “When Two Worlds Collide” in particular, is dedicated to the memory of my Father-in-Law, Aylmer Pengelly who died in 1992.  He is still missed and he would have loved all the technology that has been invented and made music so accessible to everyone in the twenty years since his death.  My love and thanks to my Parents, Merv and Jean Kearney, and to my Mother-in-Law, Viv Pengelly,  for their continued support.

Special thanks go to Maurie Marion for his seemingly endless supply of lyrics, one of which was “Creaking Leather”.  Our combined efforts with this song enabled us to reach the finals in the Tamworth Professional Songwriting for the second year running.
